Enjoy Easter 2021 at Lower Mill Estate
This Easter we will be hosting an egg-citing new Easter egg hunt at Lower Mill Estate.
Residents and guests will be invited to find 12 special eggs, that have been decorated to look like some of the UK’s favourite wildlife, including otters, owls and foxes, all of which can be found living at Lower Mill.
At the end of the Easter egg hunts, there will be a chance to decorate and hang a sustainable wooden or papier-mâché egg on one of our trees. Remember to bring some craft supplies and colours with you, as we’d love to see an array of designs!
We will pick a winner of the Easter egg hunt at random and the winner will receive an artisan food hamper. There will also be a small sweet treat for all children who take part.
If you are going to be with us over the Easter weekend, look out for an email in your inbox at the end of March, which will include full details of how to register.
Ready-made Easter picnic hampers will be available at both estates for £35 per hamper, based on two people sharing (additional portions can be added for £10 per child, £17.50 per grown up). Hampers will be made up of scrumptious, homemade picnic foods, including sausage rolls, English cured hams and quinoa, pomegranate, hazelnut, fennel & dill dishes. There are beautiful picnic spots on the nature reserve, offering beautiful views and opportunities to observe the wildlife and hopefully the sun will be shining.
If you’re hoping to really celebrate in style this Easter, our wonderful restaurant, Ballihoo, will be offering a delectableEaster lunch kit, which will include new season Cotswold spring lamb, along with all the trimmings, including potatoes with thyme, rosemary and garlic, carrots, spring greens, homemade gravy and Ballihoo’s allotment mint sauce. Each kit has been designed for a family of four and will be priced at £49 (additional portions can be added for £10 per person).
Details of how to pre-order Easter picnic hampers and Easter lunch kits will be available soon!Back to Journal
