We are very pleased to share our new Summer 2016 Activity Programme with you all

The flowers are in bloom, the trees are in leaf and the sun is shining on our transient lakes (for the most part!). If you and your family are still in need of a little extra ‘Spring’ in your step then why not book a family break in one of our beautiful holiday properties to really get you in the mood for Summer. We now take weekend and mid-week stays throughout the Summer months offering even more opportunity to enjoy that well deserved get away. We have added some stunning new properties to our rental portfolio that are sure to be very popular so why not make your enquiry by contacting a member of our team. We are pleased to share our Summer 2016 Activity Programme running from the 25th July through to the 2nd September, sure to enthrall the youngest of guests and even excite the most reluctant of age groups! Activities are popular so make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Paddling Capers – Fun kid’s activities on the water with a qualified coach – participants will enjoy learning new skills and using these skills in games such as canoe tug of war and lots more. Suitable for ages 8-14 years.
Every Monday – 11am-1pm
Craft Morning – Fun themed craft and activity mornings held in the Tipi by the Ballihoo Restaurant. From Pirate themed to Science themed, these sessions are suitable for ages 4+.
Every Wednesday – 10am – 1pm
SUP – This 1½ + hour session will start with the basics of paddling a SUP (stand up paddle board) and will fast track you towards paddling a SUP as quickly as possible culminating in your timed race around a course. Suitable for ages 12 to adulthood.
Every Thursday – 5pm – 6.30pmCanoe Safari – This 1½ + hour activity will take place at first light & you will paddle a stable open canoe across a glassy lake with your qualified canoe coach. Visiting the best vantage points in this unique nature reserve, periodically beaching your canoe for short “on foot” excursions on the trail of birds that are native to this lakeside environment. One for the whole family (children under 16 must be accompanied). Early rising and volume control are essential!
