Let your imagination run wild in our stunning natural ‘playground’. We offer a host of activities, from energetic mountain biking to serene paddleboarding. Whether you’re a young adventurer or a relaxed rambler, there is something for everyone to enjoy on the Estate.

Endless outdoor activities allow you to get up close to native wildlife. Enjoy the tranquil waterways on a kayak, canoe, or paddle board, discover the estate’s pathways and beyond on two wheels or while away the hours with a fishing rod.

Watersports Equipment Hire

Take to the water on a paddleboard, in a solo or double kayak, or by canoe. The team at Activity Hub will kit you out, talk you through the best routes and send you on your way.

Katakanu Hire

Steady enough that nobody gets wet and big enough for six, our Katakanus are the one boat the whole family can share. Yours for two hours to enjoy and explore the lakes together.

Mega SUP

Six people, one paddleboard! Our Mega SUP is made for exploring Somerford Lagoon and Spinney Lake together – or for letting somebody else do the paddling while you enjoy the view.

Paddleboarding Lessons

Our friendly instructors will have you on your feet in no time, before you head out together to the hidden island in Minety Lake. For adults and children aged eight and over.

Bike Rental

From child seats and tagalongs to full-size adult frames, there's a bike for everyone. Follow the circuits around the lakes or head out onto the country roads beyond the Estate.

Road and off-road scooter hire

Quicker than walking and less of a commitment than a bike, our manual scooters come in road and off-road versions to suit the smooth estate paths or the trails through the reserve.

Indoor Soft Play

Our nature-themed Soft Play in Millstone Park is the perfect spot for little ones to crawl, climb and slide, with somewhere comfy alongside for grown-ups to sit and watch the fun.

Mischief & Magic Show

Join us in The Snug for some fun-filled family entertainment hosted by Cotswold Children’s Parties – the experts in creating magical moments and big belly laughs for little ones.

Nature Crafts for Kids

Join our Ecologist, James, for some nature-based arts and crafts, where children make something to take home while learning about the animals and plants that live on the Estate.

Nature Explorers

A great opportunity for little explorers to get closer to the Estate's wildlife, with engaging, interactive sessions that show children what lives here and how to spot it themselves.

Spooktacular Pumpkin Trail

Get outdoors this October half-term and explore Lower Mill Estate in search of 30 hidden pumpkin faces. Find them all to complete the trail and win a prize.

Mini Pumpkin Carving

Get set for spooky season and join us for an afternoon of mini pumpkin carving and face painting in The Snug next to Ballihoo. Little hands, little pumpkins, and no mess to clear up!

Halloween Monster Bash

Dress up, enjoy live music, face painting and spooky treats at Ballihoo's Halloween Monster Bash this October half-term. A party for little monsters and the grown-ups who brought them!

Stretch and Relax Yoga

Ease into the weekend with a group class led by a brilliant local instructor, arranged by Activity Hub. All abilities welcome, whether you're a regular or a complete beginner.

Private Yoga Sessions

A session all of your own, shaped around what you want to work on, whether that's strength, balance and flexibility or simply an hour of calm with nobody else to keep up with.

Miss Mouse Trail

The Miss Mouse Trail is a family friendly treasure trail around the Estate's acres of nature reserve. Collect your map from Activity Hub, then follow it from one character to the next.

Cocktail Masterclass

Make it an evening to remember without leaving your holiday home – Cotswold Cocktail School bring everything with them, teach you the techniques and leave you with the recipes to repeat.

Tennis & MUGA Courts

Book a court for a quick rally or take over the 3G multi-use games area for a full five-a-side. Rackets and balls can be hired from Activity Hub if you haven't packed your own.

Mill Village Pool

Tucked away in the peaceful Mill Village, this heated outdoor pool is one of the Estate's hidden gems. Open from 0800 until dusk all year round, with no need to book ahead.

Millstone Park

Created with the whole family in mind, Millstone Park is the heart of the Estate – our playground, soft play and courts all in one happy spot, with Ballihoo close by for lunch.

Fishing at Lower Mill Estate

Fishing is available all year round at Mill Lake, with plenty of Carp, Tench and Bream to cast a line to. One of the quietest ways to spend a morning on the Estate, whatever the season.

Nature Reserve
