Egg-citing Events this Easter
If you’re looking to get away this April, spend your Easter break with us at Lower Mill Estate (Cotswolds). We have some egg-citing activities planned, which guarantee fun for all the family.
Egg-cellent adventures await
New for Easter 2022 is our biggest ever Easter Egg Hunt. From 1st April and 24th April. Challenge yourself to find as many of our eggs as possible for the chance to win a luxury bug hotel and chocolate hamper filled with delicious Easter goodies.
Our Activity Hub team have been busy hiding 50 colourful eggs across the estate, you’ll need to search far and wide to find them all. From the depths of the nature reserve and across the lakes, we encourage you to get active this Easter. To join in the fun, head over to our Activity Hub located near Mill Village. Entries are £4 each and include your Easter trail map and a small Easter gift.
Using the map follow the egg-citing trail and keep your eyes high up in the trees and low on the ground. Grab your wellies and soak up some fresh country air, head out on the lakes with a paddleboard and jump on a bike to scour acres of our beautiful estates. You’ll need to keep a record of the eggs you find, so don’t forget to take a pen with you. Take a break from exploring and visit Ballihoo to refuel – you may even find an egg there (Hint hint).
Surround yourself in nature
Make the most of the early spring sunshine and pre-order one of Ballihoo’s delicious picnic boxes to enjoy at one of the many beautiful spots across the nature reserve. Enjoy spectacular views and the opportunity to observe some of the local wildlife. Our picnic boxes contain a selection of homemade picnic foods, seasonal dishes and a variety of sweet treats.
Egg-quisite dining
Ballihoo will be offering a range of seasonal dishes including their ever-popular Easter lunch kit, taking the stress out of feeding the family. With locally sourced Cotswold Spring Lamb and all the trimmings, including potatoes with rosemary, thyme and garlic, carrots, spring greens, homemade gravy and Ballihoo’s allotment mint sauce.
